Fandamme- you are a fool. But whatever you need to tell yourself so you can sleep at night. They are thrown down, ears cut off, pregnant mares close to term lose their foals, mare and foals are seperated. That's just the begining. I am part of the horse and Veterinary world...so I can back this up with education. I wish we could cram a bunch of spaniards into a corral, and do this to them :)

most of you do not know what are you talking about. In this event, free horses anually are shaved ("rapa") and dewormed. They are not tortured nor killed as you say!.

This is one of the most stupid, cruel, idiotic cultural activities I have EVER seen. I don't want to sound racist to the people who do this but... YOU ARE IDIOTS. This should be illegal and you should have NO right to do this to these poor innocent creatures. I ride horses and can tell you that they, and no other creature deserves this. How would like it if someone jumped on your back, pulled on your hair with all of their might, knocking you to the ground? Hmm, hmm, would you? I thought not.
