Angelina - Tommy Emmanuel (cover)

This is a new version of Angelina. Last February I uploaded a version that was recorded direct to the video camera. This version has better audio. It was recorded to Pro Tools and then edited with the video in Sony Vegas.

I hope everyone likes it.

I spent a lot of time learning the correct fingering watching Tommy's video. Hopefully, it will be helpful to those of you trying to learn this beautiful tune.

Nice work Mark...One observation, if I may...The cuts on the camera moves are a bit distracting to the eye. Static camera with disolves to inserts instead of shrinks and and quick zooms are much more effctive and less distracting. Great job on the song, you really do it justice.

I agree totally on your observation. I did this video when I was still trying to learn the ins and outs of video editing. I'm no expert now. However, I've been getting some coaching from other You Tubers who are more savy than I. Thanks for your comment.

Tommy E. does play Maton guitars. Maton has a Tommy Emmanuel model. Pricey, but, gorgeous sounding finger style guitar. Check out the Taylor 414 if you're looking for something that costs less and sounds somewhat comparable.
