@fladave99 I can tell you he was not tailgating! the thing is when the white Porsche crashed he, bounced of the tirewall and was al over the track. because of this the driver of this Porsche had no where to go, the only thing he could do is hope he'll miss him, unfortunately that was not the case.

i was the flagger when this crash happened. standing safe behind the barrier, i was still knocked off my feet by debris flying off the car. the car hit inches from me..i was on a yellow flag for first lap, no time to leap away, the course was blocked by tires. This was turn 6, not 5. turn 5 went on a red flag. i went to hospital, and was ok to return to work. they moved the turn station to the other side of 6 after this happened. hope you knew i was allright! kate from California

My response was only to inform people that club racing and DE have consequences. If you win a club race or pass someone, your life will not change in the least. If you crash your car you are now on the hook for your car, possibly the car you crashed into and most likely the price of the car to replace it and get you back on track . Plus the loss of fun time for the years that you are out of racing. Unless you are a pro and getting paid to drive someone elses car, don't tailgate and just have fun
