Police demand an apology from Barack Hussein Obama. Obama by his own statement admits that he did not have all the facts, yet he blames the police. If you dont know what youre talking about, shut the _uck up, but then he wouldnt say anything... Its obvious that Gates was cranky from his trip, his door being stuck, and pissed with a cop who, dare I say, has the AUDACITY, to question him. He was only doing his job Gates.

Gates wasnt arrested because he is black, he was arrested because hes an a$$hole. As a Hispanic man who looked down a barrel of a police issue 9mm (also in my home), I know you need to calm the situation down and explain whats going on, not pulling an Al Sharpton. Cops are placed in dangerous situations all the time. Walk a day in their shoes, before you judge. BTW I didnt get arrested and the cop apologized, thats what happens when you act civil, but what do I know, Im not a Harvard professor.

the fact that you reiterate obama's middle name in the info just shows how blatantly racist you are, in agreeing with the racial stereotyping of the cambridge police. You weren't there, you don't know whether gates became belligerent during the altercation. If you are hispanic, and have been affected by the same racial profiling, you can probably understand that an elderly man, dressed very well, with proper identification in his own home, after a long trip may have become indignant.

When cops respond to a B&E, they usually search the house and ask the person to come outside to make sure hes not being threatened or forced to tell the cops something. If after Gates shows proof he is the home owner and the police refuse to leave, then he has every right to tell them to fuck off. Cops are law enforcement, that's all. We don't have to kiss any of their asses. Being locked out of his own home already put him in a bad mood. As cops, they should be wiser and know when to walk away ESPECIALLY when the guy did nothing illegal.

Obama shouldn't apologize for his comments about Gates. Gates should not have been arrested because he verbally insulted the police officer. I don't think the officer was racist and I believe Gates shouldn't have called him that. I think Gates should apologized for calling the cop racist and the police department should have apologized for arresting him after they found out that Gates lived there. I have seen cops get cursed out and they just live it alone. As a teacher, I have been cursed out.

Go to Wikipedia and read about how "honest" James Crowley was in his police report about Gates. He said the lady said "their were two black males with backpacks at the scene". When the dispatcher report came back, it came out that she really said "She thought one looked hispanic and she couldn't make out the other one". Anybody who thinks Crowley is not at fault for any of this is very naive. Both him and Gates are at fault.
