...And let us not forget, that those that engage in excessive recreational sex have very low self-esteem. Sex IS a good thing. I want people to be healthy and ultimately happy, as well as with themselves. By jumping over relationship development and going for the 'final act', you stunt your emotional and interpersonal growth. I think you are forgetting the psychological effects of intercourse. If sex was really only for those two primal reasons, then there would be no issue of non-consensual sex. Can you honestly say that the first time you had sex (if you have) that you thought nothing of it? Human beings are highly emotional creatures, and the act of sex has considerable repercussions on our psyche. We naturally associate sex with emotional connection, and that is why I believe it is a gift...

This would at least track down who gave who what and when then they can stop the spread of the disease for some but not all. Even if you are married it still isn;t a guarantee people sleep around even when they are married. I haven't but there are a lot of people that were married and are now deceased bc they never knew until they had symptoms. Another card or way to know is if they can donate blood if not you know something is wrong.
