George makes the admission in this sneak peek of his upcoming Inside the Actors Studio appearance, saying he's been plotting for two years and that the prank is payback for something Brad did to him. Both two-time sexiest man alive winners have a history of pulling off practical jokes on one another — Brad once convinced Ellen DeGeneres to send Chippendale dancers to George's office, while George reportedly slapped an embarrassing bumper sticker on Brad's car.

George's recent costars are no strangers to his on set antics, and while the Oscar nominee says he has done some "horrible things to people," he insists it's always just in good fun. George's friendly rivalry with Brad will be on display again this weekend — they're competing against each other in the outstanding performance by a lead actor category. It's a recurring matchup this award season, though George says he and Brad are much bigger friends than foes.

"I'll tell you quite honestly: the truth of the matter is, Brad is my friend. I've never felt competition with him. I've only felt a great deal of friendship and support from him and for him. We don't wager. We don't bet. We just look at each other and slap each other on the back and wish each other the best because he's a friend."
