@makolojun You are correct. It may be a small price considering what is on the line when getting home safe or getting home at all is the alternative.

Excellent ideas.
I really appreciate how dirty (REALISTIC!) Krav Maga is.

@FrontlineKravMaga I would suggest just throw the purse, punch in throat or kick the groin. Pick up purse and practice some sprint fu ^_^

@FrontlineKravMaga I see your angle about accuracy sir when buzzing with adrenaline thats why i prefer Choking which works for me even against a group (not smart however). Anyway what was i talking about lol yeah the technique for kids Stun and Run (if thats not trademarked it should be) the eye strike works a lot better with palm strike (Highly effective under the chin too) don't know why I said thumb that works best very close range. Thanks for the reply and if u want more feedback just ask
Throwing your purse is a very bad idea.

@ProphetGuardian Throwing your purse is a bad idea? Worse is the alternative.

@FrontlineKravMaga That can be true, but the point is to get away as quick as possible. If you have your car keys in your purse you'll have to run on foot which can leave you at a major disadvantage. The attacker may have time to recover and catch up. Throwing your would fully work if it was a robbery or opportunist attacker, but if this person is specifically targeting a woman. Tell the women to carry a decoy pursed fill with rocks.

@ProphetGuardian A decoy purse filled with rocks? I think you need to rethink that strategy. Plus you are over analyzing. Throw the object kick to destroy and get away.

Excellent advice for kids. I've taught my son to use whatever object is at hand as a weapon. A key or keychain or watch raked across the face can achieve the desired result, which should be a chance to escape. In the opening scenario, for example, the little might have freed herself with an elbow strike or finger nails, and the the little boy in the back seat could deploy his belt once the driver's in the truck. It's also good to be aware of surroundings and not get caught off guard.

@MusicDoLove I developed 5 tactics for in-vehicle escape. Even if put in a trunk of a car. It is important that kids are given the "Right to Respond" (strike) when endangered. Too often we give mixed signals for kids to "Keep their hands to themselves" or "be polite to everyone". I also don't focus on strangers, rather focus on behavior. 1200 kids a month are taken by people familiar to them. Loads of material. You are correct to teach everything goes to fight for escape. Thank you for the post
