@ENZOtaki It's true that you can burn some games on a CD and play them on the Dreamcast but I don't think that was why it died. To rip the games you would need a GD disc reader (GD was kind of an oddball format with about ~1GB of storage, which was why SEGA didn't use DRM) which were scarce then and now. Some games like Shenmue had more storage space than a CD could handle so that game can't be burned onto a CD anyways.

I thought the Dreamcast died because you was able to burn the games instead of buying them...At least thats what I heard.

I'm suprised you didnt mention Phantasy Star Online...seeing as around that time there wasnt many games that actually went online and did it so well. PSO was the first game i had that i could go online with and i was blown away to be able to talk to people around the world never seen anything like it before.

You really should have mentioned Phantasy Star Online. It would have let viewers know how the online adapter was put to good use.
