Strip tilling at 8-10 mph in South Dakota before the rains hit. 16 Pluribus units are mounted on a Bauer toolbar. I really like this bar unit combination and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pull type unit. Customer putting down liquid off to the side of the row. Some very serious weather was about to hit the Dakotas so everyone was out frantically trying to get corn in the ground before it hits. In fairly arrid areas (funny to call it that because rains are so often the scourge of planting) strip till like this is really an alternative to No Till and not Conventional. It is a way of elevating soil temperature and managing fertilizer in the most efficient way possible.
