    No offense, but it seems strange to me that your interest in religion seems to border on obsession,referring to your moniker. I would not think an atheist would have much interest in the subject. I guess none of these religions make much sense to me. Good luck to you.

    They do not. I am an atheist, and I don't. The line says, "I can FEEL LIKE I have a soul that has been saved". It's about a feeling, and not a soul. Eddie says that what he is feeling is something what religious people misinterpret as a soul, god, spirituality or whatever.

    I do not want to start a religious discussion here, but do you seriously think that just because someone is an atheist, he/she can not write poetry, spiritual or inspirational lyrics? This song is about positive emotions and a way they change you for good. Btw, the lyrics says "I can feel like I

    Have a soul that has been saved". He does not says "I have a soul that has been saved". It's about emotions and feelings and love. Not religion or spirituality.

    Does anyone else think it a bit strange that an atheist would sing about having a soul that has been saved and the light coming through the clouds in rays and shit? I mean this song is super spiritual and inspirational. I heard this the other day while I was running and the line "better loud than too late" actually made me cry. To me there is no way an atheist writes something like this.
