  • Wait isn't the fourth dimmension time? o.o

  • @ltsjack Some say it is, but think of it this way. A point is zero-dimensional. No measures. A line is one-dimensional. One dimension, length. A polygon is two-dimensional and is made of one-dimensional elements (i.e. lines). A polyhedron is three-dimensional and made of two-dimensional elements (e.g. a 3-D cube is made of 2-D squares). A polychoron is four-dimensional, and made of three-dimensional elements. It's kinda confusing.

  • It is a true 4D cube there is just a hidden "bottom" cube that cannot be seen unless you rotate the cube in 4 dimensions, which is doable in this program.

  • @someknave Yes. If the extra cube was added, then it would obscure all the other cubes.

  • problem is this is not a true 4D cube: it should have one more cube. 4D cubes are comprised of 8 cubes. The equivalent of this would be like if a standard rubiks cube only had 5 of its 6 colors, its always the last part thats hardest, so theres a good deal cut out of this program.

  • @OsyenVyeter Apparently if the additional cube is added, then it would obscure all the other cubes. If you look at the video carefully, occasionally some sides disappear. That's a fourth-dimension transformation.

  • it isn't 4d! its only many cubes floating!

  • @OsyenVyeter Actually, it is a 4D cube.

Note that we are seeing ONLY the 3D cross section of the 4D cube.

When it rotates along the t axis, some cubies dissapear and are replaced by magenta cubes. This is the other cube on the 4th dimension coming into view.

Sort of like if you rotate a face of a 3D cube on the z axis, the stickers on one face dissapear and are replaced by the others that were previously on the z axis.

  • I'm just going to assume this was created when the Doctor solved a 20x20x20 Rubik's cube in 5 minutes flat, then thought to himself "Needs more DAKKA!"

  • My anus hurts.

  • ur pc needs to get a life

  • I don't get how to use this program... ._.

  • @hTux128 Time is a temporal dimension, not a spatial dimension. While we normally consider time to be the "fourth dimension" in our 3+1 universe, this cube is in a 4+1 one.

  • @Gawaxay The fourth dimension could still be time for us though, and the stuff you say would still be valid.

  • 3x3x3 x3 *gasp*
