  • This drag bike is called the Killacycle, yes it is an electric bike.

The gas/petrol engine is possibly the single most over-rated, over hyped and least efficient motor ever invented.

  • Wow.That is impressive!

  • I wonder how many thousands of square feet of solar panels it would take to recharge this ? I have estimated it would take 37,000 ft 2 to power my car but it would only do it on a clear day at the equator between 1130 and 1330 local time and only if the panels themselves could be transported by another vehicle and they operated at 100% efficiency .

  • @jw11432 I liked what you have said. And I too believe that algae with a DNA twist has great promise. Recycle your carbon, use new fuel, not fossil fuel.

  • @fattony252 a few people invented the permanent battery though.

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... LOL

  • @dejectedangle You do realize gold is actually a worse conductor of electricity than copper? The main reason everything is 'gold plated' is because gold doesn't corrode the way copper does.

  • Want to be the next billionaire invent the perfect conductor... So far gold is the closest to least resistance... Then electricity will be 100%

  • 170 IN 8 SECONDS, THE FUCK!

  • @electricityfan when compared to existing technology. however, for its time, the internal combustion engine was a modern marvel. you have to keep in mind that gasoline was actually a waste product, it was what was left over from making kerosene. they actually used to dump gasoline out as you would dirt. so the fact that this engine used that otherwise trash liquid, was a pretty awesome feat. im still holding out for mass scale algae derived fuels, they seem the most promising to me.

  • I don't think this is what eco-mentalists think about personal transport....
