If you have a great touch and vision, looking back as much as Xavi does really does up your game. You become more and more aware of how to receive the ball in certain situations. Inside or outside of foot, or simply letting it roll if you have space. If you practice this enough it just becomes instinct. Good luck to all footballers out there!

@dahippydude well that is not entirely true...while u probably wont be aware of everything that is going on around you, that little step towards the ball is extremely effective. Even if thats all you remember, the video was worth it. Besides, it is never easy. You will have to force yourself to think about these things for a while, but then it becomes routine

lol players who actually THINK when playing football. i dont think anyway will find this useful in real life as lets be honest... who actually tries to think 5 moves ahead every second of playing football, that's why barcelona amazing because they always know the next move? You'll find this interesting but when you actually get onto a pitch, you'll prob forget it all. Just saying...
