It must be so hard to put together an ensemble cast of quality child actors like that, but this movie had a wonderful group of believable characters who worked together well. It was also a great time capsule. I miss the 70s. Kids were not as overprotected then.

Hey thanks. Yeah if you are ever in the SFV you can stop by Mason Park. Mason Ave is a little more wide than it was back in the 1970's and they added a indoor gym and outdoor basketball court...but the baseball field is still there. Too bad there's no sign to commemorate it. Technically this park is a piece of Hollywood history...and perhaps American history since this movie is such a classic. I hope they make a sign someday.

Great concept. This movie is my life in the seventies.

This is the beginings of a great little remix here.
You've got a great idea, with great music choices. It's already cool. But you can make it a lot better if you put the work in.
A couple more good audio clips from the film, some more balance between the despair/hopeful elements, and you've got a great piece of work.
Hey what is the name of the song in the end? Love this movie! It was filmed at Mason Park in Chatsworth, CA....my old neighborhood. That baseball field is still there today. Not much has change the KFC restaurant at the corner of Mason & Devonshire is also still there.

@dbruin03 That's great to hear the field is still there. The song is called "You Are the Generation That Bought More Shoes and You Get What You Deserve" by Johnny Boy.
