  • Wonderful, really extraordinary!

  • Wow! This is a serious accomplishment! As a cellist (from a family of violinists) I can only say that you have played this so well that imho Oistrakh would be blown away. The arrangement is most interesting. Naoko Ishibashi is excellent (with a touch of chordal flourish at the end, too). This, I'll listen to over and over again!!

  • You have taken the standard up, which is hard to do these days, and I don't mean by this one recording - I mean you yourself are are now a new standard. It is always wonderful to hear you play. I am no less impressed by the subtle work you do playing principle in orchestra, I noticed you play for the Met Opera watching a video. Take good care of yourself please.

  • @Flutist007654 Thanks for that. I hope I will get to accompany someone playing this version some day!

  • @PSearPianist It was Jean Pierre Rampal who adapted it , you can find many versions of it on youtube

  • Wonderful.

    Just wonderful.

    Congratulations Denis - simply superb.

  • I don't know who adapted this for flute (you?) but it is brilliant! Congratulations on the exciting performance.
