How to Install HoneyComb (Android 3.1) on your Logitech Revue Google TV Box

This is a video of me installing a leaked build of HoneyComb for Google TV. WARNING this is a leaked version that is a beta. If you install this it could damage your device and you may not be able to update to official releases. Do this at your own risk.

I can't seem to get my flash drive to read the zip file. any suggestions? i reformatted it to fat32 and the only thing on it is the zip file. i've tried two different flash drives. is there any chance that my mac would be the reason why my flash drive isn't working properly on the revue? would it be a good idea if i tried it on a windows pc?

@UndeadAuthority7 I would try a different computer and then a different zip after that. It could just be the drive you have.

Why the bell did you keep the cam on the tv, that's just rediulous. You should have showed what your doing, that's the point of a video tutorial. This isnt any more useful than reading the txt directions at gtvhacker. I just don't get people sometimes, ignorance irrates me to no end.

@joeydrunk1 What would you like to see video of, the keyboard or the back of the unit. Anything else would have been superfluous and honestly showing the back was more effort than I wanted to put into it because I would have had to unhook everything and I thought the buttons on the keyboard was pretty straight forward.

Do you have access to the Android Marketplace? Does Spotify work?

@0512matt Check out the other videos. You definitely can get into the marketplace but very few apps will actually download. Sideloading is the best option but even then it probably will not work.

@joeydrunk1 WTF are you complaining? Unless you're deaf or can't read, I don't see what the big deal is. Ignorance is disparaging a person doing something helpful for free! I'd much rather see what is happening on screen than what he is doing.

Think about it. If you're doing the correct steps, your screen should match his. If you're watching him, you don't have a clue what it should look like on your screen.
