I transitioned in the early '80s, and there is a big gap in the photographic record, from an awkward and unhappy 17 year old boy to a smiling 22 year old girl. Part of me wishes I had taken some pictures, but at the time I just wanted to get it over with.

High school pictures of me have that "haunted" look too.

@raingirl53 That's really cool that you got to transition so young back in the 80's where I bet resources and understanding doctor were hard to come by. Sometimes I feel like I started so late at 23 ^o^

Thank you all for all the wonderful compliments^^. I was a bit nervous about posting my old pictures. I had to wait for a time in my life that I would feel comfortable doing so and I don't think I could have done it a day sooner. Truthfully, I now feel detached from and barely recognize the person in the first two pictures. Hopefully the changes I have experienced will encourage others. ^_^

@rlllam Awwwwwwwww that was such a sweet wedding proposal. I do I do I will marry you!!!!!!!!!!^^ We can have a really nice house with a flower garden and maybe a small apple orchard. Tis such a happy joyous day. hormones is not gonna make any significant effect on your facial features. You need to undergo plastic surgeries and silicone injections to achieve a softer and more feminine facial features. You should also have your testicles removed if you wanna maximize the effects of hormones otherwise, it has psychological effects. take this as an advice coming from the pro. been on hormones siince I was 14 and had undergone SRS at 27. I have been on hormones for 13 months now. I most pass, but I want to get better to pass all the time.Hopeful that will happen in time. Looking at your pictures there is hope.
