Footage of sleet and snow in far southern Oklahoma along I-35 during a snowstorm. We nearly slid off the highway at one point, as the cars did in this video. All parties in the wrecks escaped without injury, and I contacted the Oklahoma HIghway Patrol off-camera after the truck flipped on its side. Trying to stop and assist others would have put us and other motorists in danger, and we were not in a position to do so. I also sent reports of the road conditions to The Weather Channel via Twitter. We are @centralokstorms on Twitter, and also on Facebook at facebook.com/CentralOKStormChasers. Of course, CentralOKStorms.com as well.

  • I used to love snow when I was a kid, but now I can't stand it. Especially in Oklahoma with the wind blowing so hard with the majority of our snows.

  • I shouldn't say anything but I will......"This is Bazaar!" I mean we have snow & icy road conditions too but I do believe most motorists here are better prepared for winter driving conditions. THX4 postin' it was like I was in that car with you guys, anyway don't get me wrong but cars & trucks can still slide off the road here too (okey), even if they got winter tires on. lol
