  • Kalamazoo isn't a milk stout is it?

  • We typically follow Beeradvocate style classifications, but it doesn't have a lot of residual lactose sweetness.

  • Mackeson Is the very best. There are several large Beer depot style stores in my area ,(Milwaukee),and from what Ive been told, Macksesons may no longer be available in the US very soon. I can only assume that these people know what they are talking about. I know it is brewed By Royal Imports In Cincinnati. Maybe I should just contact them directly. Anyway just a heads up for Mackeson lovers.

  • This is terrible new indeed this is one of my favorite stouts and easily my favorite sweet stout.

  • Mackeson's is soooo good. Every Stout fan needs to drink this beer.

  • Where did you guys come across the Mackeson's?........my g/f would love to try some (and i myself am intrigued in trying some)

  • You guys should be called the "We agree to never disagree guys" LOL. Thanks for the vids anyways.

  • Nice slurpy reviews guys. I agree with the Mackeson. It's the Daddy of milk stouts.

To me it's almost literally Mother's milk.

I used to have a tot in my baby bottle. (Shock horror)

  • Mackeson's Triple Stout had aniseed in it; that's liquorice...that's a lot of the complexity of its flavor

  • Mackeson's is THE sweet stout in my opinion. Thick, rich, big mouthfeel, chocolate and coffee, and ends on a sticky sweet note that lasts and lasts. Young's is a great desert beer; seriously, we drink this after Thanksgiving; velvety and smooth, but not too heavy to really fill you up after gorging on bird.

    Great review guys. Chuggums!
