  • @XPirich "My little toy" is 250 feet in diameter, weighs 100,000 pounds, and moves at 18,000 MPH. If it were to give you a gentle pat in the head, you wouldn't be posting here anymore.

  • The only problem here is it's giving gentle pats- the actual change in velocity needed to deorbit something is several times the speed of sound- and if your little toy hits something that fast, it gets a hole torn in it.
