@cursedswordsman jaco also played funky,he didn't only play jazz.. try listening some bass lines like barbary coast,or come on,come over.. or his reinterpratation of funky broadway or third stone from the sun by jimi hendrix.. you should at least know the bass players you are going to talk about..
