u can go even further and make it bigger and add a male and female guppies the they will breed eat the plants an shrimp and the shrimp will eat there babies

In Hawaii there called opi and there actually brackish water so it would be good to add some aquarium salt so that they live longer

@MonicasFly Red cherry shrimp are very well capable of living in these conditions. They are comfortable and sometimes even breed in there. There is a whole cycle of life that goes on in the sealed container. You probably don't know what that is, though.
