It is 1984, myself and my best friend John are heading down to the jersey shore to lay out in the sun and look at girls! Ray Parker Jr had so many good songs! This song brings back memories. We had both of his albums at that time. I wouldnt mind being 19 again, man did I meet a lot of pretty women back then! What memories!!! LOL

This song is one of the great oldies that anyone can just drift back to the good times...however, if you listen to the lyrics...isn't it kinda...stalkerish?
I know back in the 80's it was cool to be completely devoted and soulfully in love, but, now in days, this guy would have been considered 'creepy'.

i don't know how anyone can mention Raydio without Jerry Knight's lead on vocals. Jerry, i know how great a singer you are. hell, you can name the band after yourself all you want, but i didn't even think of Ray Parker. you were the real Raydio. i hope you read this, bruh. thanks for the memories.
