pretty sure this was the broadcast that I first discovered Hitch and went out and bought the book the next day.....that short clip showed how intelligent the man was....later I was scouring youtube for anything on the guy...and that just blew me away....

Mr Dobbs has one thing these knuckleheads (O'Reilly, Hannity, and Beck) are missing, Integrity. Hats off to both of you. This was one of the most civil interviews I have ever seen.

Hitch often references Buddha as having a 'supernatural' birth. He cannot control what CNN shows on the screen and he corrected them in the interview.

Hitchens is correct when he says he thinks people would be surprised at the numbers of people around the world not just in the U.S. who are non believers. Estonia for example, is a majority atheist population & it is a wonderful & beautiful culture and country with a beautiful and intelligent people & the most prosperous former soviet province. They also have one of the most transparent governments in the world. What a beautiful world we live in with a declining religious population. I love it.
