Armed School Teacher Shoots Armed Invader in Self-Defense (FL)

When an armed suspect attempted to invade the home of a middle school music teacher and his wife, the teacher was forced to use deadly force to subdue the intruder. The couple was badly-shaken by the incident, and the teacher has yet to return to the classroom.

Wow that dispatcher needs more training...

First the dispatcher asks someone in the background whether he should send EMS, and then later, this:

Woman: "he's laying in the livingroom"

Dispatcher: "Is he in the house?"

@TheArmedCitizen I have to disagree a bit here. Maybe not all thieves deserve to be killed but those that rob (which is pretty much stealing through violent force or the threat of it) pretty much deserve to be shot during the act. Anyone breaking into another's home while being armed is about as dangerous a person to be found in our society. They don't deserve a second chance to do it again at innocent people's expense in my opinion.
