Just like Kafka in his day, Enric Martí is responsible for a work called Metamorphosis. In this case it's no book of fantasy loaded with hidden messages, but rather a computer program which lets you create a single image from several pictures in 3D. This university lecturer at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) School of Engineering (ETSE) explains how he managed to develop this innovative metamorphic system with the assistance of student Ferran Poveda. It is based on an idea from the artist Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada, famous for his large-scale ephemeral portraits. The result: a mural with the face of the university, based on the merged features of a 100 of its members, on one of the walls of the Student Building.
