You are right. Affirmative Action is results-oriented.

The biggest barrier is the implicit biases in people's minds - biases they even be unconsicous of.

A great site is Harvard's Project Implicit. One can test oneself for biases. But, be prepared to surprise yourself !

Nobody has ever shown that implicit bias is the cause of anything. You assume causation, that the bias is the cause of different genetic clusters performing differently. There's an implicit bias against males in some circumstances and females in others, against short people, against skinny people, against fat people - people pre-judge. That's what the brain does. But it is telling that white racism is so non-existent that the equality industry has had to invent exotic forms of "implicit" racism.

We were talking about the fact that felons and convicts are responsible for their own actions not the white community, then you avoided the subject ans cited the facts that blacks are innocently shot as your reason?

Interestingly enough those innocent blacks shot were more likely shot by other blacks, look up statistics on white on black crime and black on black crime.
