@scottievand Nope, it was because they gave the filmmakers the only prototype BMW Z3, so they couldn't use it in any scenes that could damage the car.

@scottievand Apparently they only introduced this car to the film because of advertising for BMW. For once, the main priority of this car's introduction was for product placement and not for a car chase.

How come they never used the stinger missiles in the film?? Was it in a deleted scene?? Also, a shame they didn't really use the Z3 in other scenes all that much.
