Panel raising on a restored, vintage 1956 DeWalt GW-I radial arm saw using a DeWalt 2 knife shaper head. This is the clean up pass, last of 3. The rattling sound you hear are from the hold downs on the side of the guard, I'll take them off next time. Visit mrsawdust.com

  • Do you always start with the sides across the grain, then the two sides with the grain?

  • Yes, end grain first.

  • Yes, a 2 knife DeWalt head with panel raising knives.

  • Oh yes old school!! We had some cutters and planer blades very similiar to these. Scariest tools I have ever seen or used but wish I still had them today. That was along time ago.

Thansk brings back alot of old memories all good. By the way do you have the planer blade attachements for the saw also??

    Thanks

  • Nice. The vintage Dewalt's are wonderful machines.
