Fretting Hand Dexterity Exercise

http://www.guitarspeedsecret.com - This exercise focuses on getting the pinkie and ring fingers to interact with one another in the fretting hand.

One of the best things that you can do to further challenge your hands on the guitar, is to take classical passages like this one and really take the time to work on them as exercises.

Electric classical guitar work, or neoclassical guitar is extremely challenging and presents a whole plethora of picking obstacles. If you know this, then you can start working with combinations of J.S. Bach, and Paganini licks to further train the hands.

By doing this, very little will come as a surprise or challenge to your hands in the future. Some of the combinations of string skipping, down strokes, upstrokes, and outside/inside string movements can be mind boggling, but also a lot of fun to work at.

If you are a guitarist who has a problem with accidentally drooling on your guitar when you are focusing, then put a pale beneath your guitar, because you'll be doing it a lot with this exercise ;)
