Считаю, что слава голосов русских- вот в таких исполнителях! Сама-частью русских кровей, но и азиатских. Европа-посмотри, какие в РОссии голоса и образы! Неужели вы там до сих пор думаете, что русские-дикари враги?))))))))))0

This aria is just wonderful. I've heard it the first time when I was 16, and I still love it. I do not speak Russian, but it is easy to see a man suffering for his two great loves - his wife and his country -, captive between his enemies, although their leader is a real gentleman, treating him very well.
