KREATIVE KIDS (AGES 3-6)

Baby steps will be taken towards a strong foundation of movement and musicality. Emphasis will be on structure and repetition at the beginning of class while slowly developing towards more free form movement at the end. Technique will be taught with a focus on openness and creativity in movement. Props such as scarves and drumsticks will be introduced to illustrate form of motion and to amplify rhythm. GUIDELINES FOR BOTH KREATIVE KIDS CLASSES: Classes are open to boys and girls, and no prior dance experience is necessary. Dance shoes are welcome but not required. Clothing should be comfortable and allow for a full range of movement (loose-fitting pants, leggings, t-shirts, leotards etc...)
