Please have a look at our video about D Day 65

I take great offence to that, we as a nation stood alone for 18 months in the fight against the Nazis. The War did actually start before 1941. we don't think we won the war single handedly, but we played a bit more than a minimal part. we should all be grateful to the part played by the Russians, The Yanks and everyone else.
As for warmongers - no one has conquered us for almost a 1000 years and everyone wants to speak our language, suits me down to the ground.
As for the BNP, one word scum
-
the tragic thing is, that in Britain, the BNP actually got LESS votes than they ever have, but because the European Elections are proportional, and because political apathy meant that less voters than ever before voted, the BNP had a high enough percentage of the vote to get a seat.
THIS is the reason the British dont believe in proportional representation-it produces weak fractured parliaments and government
-
Ahem, WE defeated Hitler in the battle of Britain which mean that Britain was still able to be there to serve as the staging point for D Day-dont like it, thats your problem

Plus the polish never fought in the war, they were invaded, its how the war started you foolish mortal. After the invasion I had every single polish person delverd to seham to work as bus drivers and do all the work my evil minions refused to do
-
In Holland there is going on such a thing to. The partie called PVV led by geert wilders is against the islam and such and is pretty fascistic. The don't like foreign people and such. My parends voted so he and his party would get to big. But still some people (only 36,5% showed up) voted on him. They got 4 seats.
Maybe this has something to do with the crisis and all.

Oh yeah the polish did loads for the war, I mean what would we have done without all them bus drivers
-
The pollish weren't invited to.
They gave there lives to, why aren't they invited then to commermorate this day, which was the beginning of the end of nazism.
I was there on june 5 (only evening), 6 and 7 (only morning on 7). It was real cool to see all those jeeps, GMC and Dodge WC51 and such.
rest in peace, the true heroes.

the British were snubbed at those recent D-Day commemorations....the reality is more British and Commonwealth soldiers were involed in the D-Day landings than any other nation......shame on Sarcozy for not inviting the British Monarch.......but respect to all soldiers of all nations who were involved and fought and also lost their lives
