Look, Tiger Band is a completely different style from The 101. They are a show band. We are a military band. They have their style and we have our own, so you can't really compare the two. The 101 did have amazing halftime show and I think they a great.

I hope the 101 is back sometime soon in Clemson!! This is the only time in the last 6 years or so that I stayed in my seat at halftime

@hedatdada haha what. SCSU's program is only there as a cooperative with Wisconsin - and only one in the "region"? are you forgetting one of the top engineering schools in the world...Georgia Tech?

@dlt287 Why not GSU's Nuclear Engineering program? Oops, they don't have one. SCSU has the only one in the region. I guess your "higher aim" is just another example of misguided grandeur.

The fact that you are on here hating on a "sorry excuse of a band called SCSU" as you have tackily articulated must mean that this band is doing something very right because no matter how well they perform, haters are going to hate. And you are right , they are not BCU, FAMU, SU, or JSU, nor are they trying to be and this is why I love the hell out of them. For the record, the bands that you've mentioned are not the be all end all of bands- it's just folks like you never want to see their flaws.

Since you aim higher, "so-called", then you shouldn't have time to be commenting on this clip or any other clip of the Marching 101since they are obviously beneath you. It would seem that your energy would be well placed with a stern focus on your "class" as you say. If the performance didn't meet your standards, whatever those are, then just find a spot and sit still. There are several thousands of others who loved it.

I am a little confused about why this discussion is now about what race we are. I posted it just so people who weren't there could see the performance! Yeah- the quality of the video is not the best. They really were great, especially compared to Clemson's band! The rumor here at Clemson is that we asked them to tone it down. I hope that isn't true but I wouldn't doubt it! Great job 101!
