I tell you one thing that I am very happy to see. There are so many young people that are listening to music like this again. I hope that they encourage their children to also listen to it to help keep music like this around for a long, long time.
I can not stand that Rap Crap and don't even consider it music.

@JuDGe369 Johnny Horton is def one of my fav classical country artists. I love whispering pines too. Impressive though how it gets introduced to our modern culture and how we can find enjoyable even over our modern music.

I'm almost 21 and this song speaks volumes to me, as I've felt some of these same emotions. MUCH more beautiful than many modern pop/rock "love" songs!
Wish Johnny Horton hadn't have died so young; he probably would have turned out more tear-jerkers like this! I also like "Whispering Pines" and "The Mansion You Stole."
