The Nelson's television set is out so they decide to spend "An Evening With Hamlet." Not long after the reading begins, a mysterious stranger arrives at the door and it appears that he is an accomplished Shakespearean actor.

I never would have expected to see John Carradine appear in this episode of Ozzie and Harriet but here he is reading Shakespeare with the Nelson family. You don't want to miss this one!

  • imagine kids talking to their parents like that now, yes mam, oh gee the tvs broken, oh i guess youll have to find something else to do, oh, i know we'll read hamlet with david, by now a teenager of today, would have gone off their brain that the tv wasnt working, or the internet, or the x box, or the game boy, or the dvd player, or the mobile, and gone into their room,, to talk for hours on a mobile, running up a big, bill, its like comparing oranges to apples, isnt it.

  • @thefairlysimple1 You couldn't be more right! -Michael

  • Oh gosh I meant to say John Carradine, no idea why David came to mind.

Thanks Michael for such a wonderful upload. It is a gem.

    Have a great day!

    Cheers!

  • @AfsAnehAfairytale That's an easy enough mistake to make. David was, after all, Grasshopper, lol. I thought David was a great actor in his own right. He was superb in "The Long Riders" (1980). R.I.P.
