my grandmother's church tried to say he was satan incarnate, and i stood up and asked why. after they yelled at me, i named off songs and their meanings, the real meanings, this song was included. the church was silent. some looked like they wanted to sacrifice me and some looked as if i'd made a revelation. i have never been permitted there since.
