The Constitution clearly says that Congress is to "promote" the general welfare, NOT "provide" it. Providing Healthcare is NOT an authorized power of the federal government.

The only thing the government should do with healthcare is GET OUT OF THE WAY.

If private insurance turns you down, you have other options. When government (which denies care at HIGHER rates than private insurance) turns you down, government has already denied you other options as well. Therefore private healthcare is always better than government.
