My 237/242 Cam-Only VY II HSV Maloo running at the TDRA drag meet on February 20th 2010.

Here is a video of my VY Maloo competing in dial in bracket racing at Tasmania's St Leanonards Tyre and Auto, LA FM Dragway during round 4 of our local competition. Competing in Super Sedan (10.00 - 11.99et) bracket racing.

In this pass I am racing an old FC holden with an angry V8 with a shot of Nitrous on board. I won this pass due to the opposition guy breaking out running an 11.214 on an 11.300 dial in. I ran 11.804 on an 11.750 dial. You can just see the car toward the finish as he closes in and goes by as i brake after the line.

I later went on to go the whole way through the to the finals of this round and win the final and take out first place for the evening. Not so bad for a street car built at home with a few friends helping out...

Thankyou for watching :)

  • @nlikos2007 actually, 0 - 100kph in 3.9 seconds according to most of the logs :)... it shuffles along quite alright :)

  • Nice one Dwayne, I could not quite workout who won this run, looked close.

  • i won this one... guy next to me broke out by 0.080 of a second... unlucky, but it's good. i got through and went on to win the round :)

  • Nice one Dwayne, I can now say I've seen Tassie's drag strip and wow.... lol definitely not a willowbank

  • yeah it's not much hey!!!

bit crazy down in the braking area... it's not so bad when you're only slowing down from 185kph, but i feel for the guys in cars pulling up from 250kph and more!!! it's bumpy down the very end :)

i'd love to have a run at willowbank... i raced at Kwinana in WA and that was a beautiful track...
