@thx291 yeah, that's true. cnn has affiliate stations i.e. local news stations whose cameras they use when they don't have a bureau nearby. cnn buys the station's sattelite time for them, so the local crew can broadcast the live shot back to their home station, and cnn has permission to tap into that satellite feed and use the shot. but sometimes the local news crew moves the shot when they're done with it in their newscast.
