it kinda depends on which part of the activity is being computed... we are humans bcos we are irrational at some point... remove the irrational part, we're no better then robots... and this is somewhat i feel what law and politics are about... inelastic, inadequate, vague, but hell it works.. -.-'
the funny thing tho is, AI is absolute... i mean, its far superior in almost every basic functions.. the problem tho is we then try to make them mimick "US"... the humans.... the error prone intelligence
That's true. One must even question the benefits of making any future AI actually emulate us. If anything, it above all else could lead to our destruction. After all, nigh all examples of humans possessing tons of power have shown enormous corruption and misery for the masses. Perhaps it would be better to have emotionless, logic driven AI government in the future. That could of course have it's own negative aspects, since they might not understand context well enough.
I implied it would potentially be beneficial. Politics is rife with corruption, greed, etc, with humans in charge. It seems to me that a kind of AI-driven technocracy could work better, provided the AI's were programmed to always be fair, etc. They wouldn't be subject to the same petty problems as humans.
it would, but you mentioned, "That could of course have it's own negative aspects, since they might not understand context well enough. " so i was asking.... do you think existing gov and politicians... even know what they are doing ?, i mean, it wouldnt make a difference, if existing gov is unjust and knows nuts, give it to an ai., it would still be the same.. lol
and ofcourse , the downside would be as if "terminator's skynet" .. as u may have suggested, what if the ai become "aware" then if human was petty and greedy, we still woudnlt die as much comapred to being compleetly ruled by a robot...
