@tomeeeee1 I understand your frustration and have thought the same thing at times about who died in those trenches. Why just the "Good Germans " and not the Good Anglos,French or Americans ? A good book to read is The Second World War and The First WW by "John Keegan" to understand it better.

This is another great version of this sad song. This one comes a close second to the NYC concert but it hits the mark in a different way. Thanks for the upload !
