It is also rumored that after watching this song Harmesh Malhotra wanted Jaya Prada for Nagina , but when she refused the movie bec she did not like the snake movie idea he has taken Sridevi who jumped for the idea.

I really love the way both of them keep their pace of dancing together. I doubt if any 2 heroines of today would be able to pull off such a dacne or even atleast 20%. They both were amazing actresses and perfect dancers and both things are lacking in today's generation

Another drawback of Jaya is her height and structure. If you look at her, her body seems tight from top to bottom. The dance steps donot come out distinctively. As with Sri, she was among the tallest dancers, abt 5.7 ht, the dress, whatever u give her, amrapali dance suit or saree, she comes out stunning, and the dance steps get more suited and attractive. This shows that dancer needs to have a good body structure as well. Sri was fantastic in both traditional and western outfits.

I am surprised nobody has commented on the abolsutely woeful acting by Rajesh Khanna. Jeetendra being just aboue passable. However, so much power in Kishore Kumar's voice, this man is the true legend!

i think jaya dances better here....watch between 1:32 to 1:45....jaya's more refined and precise...she's sharper...when it comes to combining grace, poise and elegance with indian dances jaya has few equals....sri's relying more on her height and figure...the underlying fear of competing with a better dancer is there on her face...

I am a massive fan of Sridevi. She is definitely more gracious and fluid in her movement than Jaya prada in this piece. But I think Jaya prada stands out in the song because she oozes s much energy and speed it is almost electryfying. Sridevi is way too much in control and "soft" I would say in a scene where they are meant to depict aggressivity. Jaya prada dances much better as a naagdevi, I could say she would have done a great job in Nagina!

sridevi's biggest advantage when it comes to dancing is her height and figure. She has fully utilized it in this song and its very evident. her moves are precise, timely and sharp. Jaya Prada too has done very well.

You have every right to disagree and I do not have to agree with anybody. In my opinion, in this particular dance Sridevi overshadows Jaya by a tad bit. Her movements are extremely accurate. But both have enacted their parts very well indeed.
