    Asian? Yes geographically, but cultually we are Hispanics. Have you even been to the Philippines? Also, what is considered "asian"? is it a culture? I don't think so. Russians are asians, Jews are asians, Pakistanis are asians, Muslims are asians, etc... do you think they are all the same? Hispanic is the correct term since Hispanic is an ethnic CULTURE that is shared among nations that have been influenced by Spain. Hispanic elements are characteristics of culture that came from Spain.
