Everyone knows that a male brown bear will viciously kill and eat a cub if it gets the chance... watch as a little year old cub finds out whether indeed that is true!!!! Footage taken at Mcneil river sanctuary... Sorry if it is a little all over the place...

  • That was cool.. when the Mama bear rushed the other bear with the fish as her cub got closer to it.. "Don't Mess With My Baby"..

  • Bears, if not threatened, can be surprisingly docile. If you stay a good distance away, they won't bother you.

  • @berlymom1,Bears don't really think much of humans....they usually run someitmes.

  • Don't mess with the Momma Bear!!!!

  • Some birds, like that gull, are sometimes scavengers. I'm sure it'll eat at a salmon carcass.

  • wut about the bird it needs some food to eat

  • your name isn't timothy treadwell is it?

  • this is pretty badass

  • Oh ya. Any dominant boar(male bear) will kill a cub. it does not matter if its own blood or not. If the cub is not in close proximity to the sow(female bear) then any cub wil be killed on the spot.

  • Oh my gosh - you were so close to those bears. How did you not fear for your safety? Was the fish run so good that the bears had enough to eat and you weren't worried? That little cub, whether it's male or female, had some good spunk to try and take that fish away from the big male!

  • will the male bear eat his own cub?
