Within Temptation's new single Faster, new album "The Unforgiving" out in the end of March 2011. Movie & Video out January 31st. The edited music video, part of the "Faster & Mother Maiden Short Film" - it is there where you'll watch the first of three short films, to be released this year. These movies give further insight into the concept of Within Temptation's fifth studio album "The Unforgiving" and are based on the comic storyline; the characters are impersonated by actors. Each film is followed by a band performance that, all together, form a dark and compelling tale of life, love, revenge, rage, and regret. The first movie, titled "Mother Maiden", ties in with the band's first single & video for 'Faster', introducing the main characters of the narrative. This song goes faster and faster and faster and faster and faster and faster and FASTER! to it's tempting wonderfulness within and communicates to your heart in an instant. All the rights absolutely go to the owner and if there's an inconvenience embraced by the fact I posted under my channel, I shall immediately remove it. But I know it won't be the case -- all is well as long as you do it with the best intention and from all your heart!

They really don't sound all that much alike. Listen to them side by side. I like them both, but I don't understand why people claim they sound nearly identical. Particularly this acoustic version sounds even LESS like Wicked Game (which was a cover of an older song anyway).

Within Temptation - during temptation - a soul can be snared by desire of self and sin. To break free and give one's self to others in that moment is to quench that fire and break that hold not only for self, but for others that understand why they can't sleep! :)
