  • Why isnt he more famous yet. Honestly purest and best tone control of all virtuoso's..

  • very solid and beautiful playing, bravo feng

  • those four people that unliked this, you have no sence for the beutiful melodies, the godlike music, and this king :)

  • This was performed in 2005 with the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra, in the final of the Michael Hill International Violin Competition - which he won. What you don't see at the end of this concerto is how the rest of the competitors, around a dozen or so, sitting in the stalls stood up to applaud, leading the audience in an enormous ovation.

Ning Feng is the real deal.

  • excellent playing in stile!Bravo...he should be much more know than he is now

  • Look at that organ .GEESE. This man has all the technique in da world. And he is as musical as anyone!!!

  • he actually plays legato. don't see that much these days. :)

  • Im from Hong Kong and I watched him play tonight. Wonderful performance! Bravo!

  • Hi Donluggy,

I believe the violin of Paganini Cadenza is not the Greiner, he loaned a Stradivari during that period ( he told the audience in a masterclass, and I was there too), that violin should be the Stradivari.

I do thin that the violin in this clip looks more like the Greiner, you can see how his Greiner look like in a documentary film of NingFeng himself!

Thanks for you kindly answer anyway,

    the best wishes to you!

    Regards,

    Yishu from Kaoshiung

  • It doesn't really look like one... but if you look at his recording of the paganini cadenza, you'll see his Greiner.

This is a beautiful instrument too... very cantabile!
