  • @101Checks I really hate when people say that Eyefinity is cheating. It seems like the natural evolution of games.

  • LOLOLOL

    "Eyefinity is cheating guys"

Yeah man, cause having a higher resolution is cheating and that's why Blizzard gives you the option of using it.

  • And 5760x1080 doesn't give you THAT much more visual room if you think about it. The screens on the side are always skewed and stretched to give you that peripheral vision feel, it isn't literally 3 screens worth of visibility.

  • @codyt9x What's the program? I also tried the width=x height=x shit too, no go.

  • @codyt9x I believe there is a program that enables it.

  • How did you get this to work? SC2 won't work on my 3-monitor 5760x1080 setup for the life of me

  • @Keyeszx48

i think if your right but a lot of the issues are just with mousing, the hotkeys would still be the same, and most pro level players use them to warp around 90 pct of the time, and usually the action would be near center monitor, definetly would want a faster mouse speed though and might kill some of the percision.

  • eh i wouldnt recomend this for sc2 would u? cuz i think sc2 is kinda about speed and apm and having larger space just takes more time for u to move ur mouse

  • I feel like that would actually make your response time slower. Especially with the HUD so far spread out. You would have to have high sensitivity mouse and be moving your eyes constantly checking every screen. Too much work for me. Koreans would love it though.

  • @FFFan3445 I'm with you.

I'd say in 5 years or so, A LOT more people will be using surround.

oLED monitors will most likely be built in super wide also since oLED can bend really good.

In 20 years, gaming monitors might MEANT TO BE super wide. (48:10 or something)

Nowadays it's just a little expensive and some people think the bezels kill the fun. In future, the people will want to view more than the little box. because the eye can see so much more. Why limit it if it doesn't have to

  • @theUglyManowar I totally agree with you here. I'd kill for an Eyefinity setup but I'm poor; sure, people with Eyefinity setups do have advantages over players without but they effing earned it with their money. Eyefinity's not cheap and being surrounded by video input of the game you're playing is not something to fear but something to embrace with open arms. I seriously can't wait for the Radeon HD 7000 series of cards to release, I'm thinking one 7850 should power three 1080p monitors easily.
