@sauce556 Well yeah, the thing is - you don't see Kobe, Pierce, Ray Allen, whomever - average 6FGA per game like Vince is currently averaging with the Mavs.

@Raptorel Yea I saw a lot of that in the opener vs Miami...when Vince was a ghost on the court that the Mavs couldnt see...he was standing in the corner for about 5 consecutive posessions while nobody even looked his way lol...In his position I would almost feel disrespected but it is his own fault that for the last coupla years he has lacked an ego which has ultimately been his downfall...his unselfishness is what allows players around him to be more selfish and ultimately disallow him to play

@sauce556 Exactly. Not only that, his talent and creativity and all that are still there with the Mavs now, but the shape he was in with the Magic at the beginning of the last season is not.

Even with that, he could still do SO much more with the Mavs except he's either not getting the ball or he's isolating himself in the corner and watching the other guys play. As if he's saying "look, I'm not looking to stop the ball/look selfish so go ahead and you take the shots". I say fuck that

I am watching this in 2011--almost 2012...and I cant help but be pissed to think that he could still have been doing this last season if he hadnt given up on himself after the trade away from Orlando...he really seemed to have worked on his game in the off-season and had great percentages...wanted so badly for another championship caliber season

@sheikh03 Well that shot at his shot wasn't cool. Not that it isn't true but he shot countless of other clutch shots. If that shot was to be 1cm or half an inch to the left or right and went in he was to be such a great clutch shooter blah blah blah. Now if that shot missed people seem to think that all the other shots that went in were canceled. That's retarded.

I don't understand what led to his selfishness.

@Raptorel Who said I am basing his whole career on one shot? I just wrote 2 full paragraphs about what I based his career on. I mentioned that shot as merely a reflection of VCs disappointment, which led to his selfishness and then leaving of the organization. He missed the shot is what I am aiming at and he mentioned it himself "Im just a sore loser".
