@MrRonnieG My father was stationed at Anderson Air Force Base, on Guam, from August 1968 to September 1970. He called us to Guam, in December 1969, after he was able to get housing on the base. I was twelve years old. I brought this record from the Base Exchange on Guam, and used to always play it. I still play it. My father was in Vietnam, from May 1965 until June 1966. I have great memories of my family and I traveling around in the service with my father. Bronx, New York City.

From June 1969 until July 1970 I was stationed in Southeast Asia (Vietnam) with the Army. I can remember that one of the guys I served with had a Junior Walker cassette and would play this song, over and over and over. Fortunately I loved Junior and the All Stars and, in particular, this recording which is why it put a smile on my face to discover this post. As Charles Dickens once said, "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times."
